The Quilt Came Back

... the very next day. Finished, all except the binding, which I'm about to sit down and tackle. I learned to blind stitch from a Korean girl at college, and she was very particular about how it should be done. Nary a thread will be visible, and my fingers will likely be bloodied, but in the end, the newest human will be warm.

Specially ordered and just arrived. Y'all know how I feel about polka-dots. When Sheri asked to get these in stock, I was powerless. I'm feeling another quilt coming on...

seeing as how we've cured the common quilt. Better living through fiber.

I LOVE those polka dots! I can see that double dot on the far right as a either a cute sundress or my favorite - a full skirt, possibly with a solid color underskirt peeking out from the bottom. g

I'm feeling the love for that quilt. That bit of black (or whatever dark color that is) really makes it pop. What a stinking lucky little new human! g

Oh how I love polka dots also. AND that quilt is just beautiful. I love to sew and quilt and need to get back to doing some of that BUT, alas, the question is when. How to stop knitting to quilt? So much to do and so little time in the day to do it all in.
