Checking in

A sock-progress update: the short-row heel is waiting for me. The striping effect is taking the edge off the color pooling, but that is what handpaint yarn is all about... I'm just excited that the first sock is about half done. It's a sample, so I don't have to get all weird about it, but then again, that's sort of what I'm about.

My name for the dummy is "Cadiva". I must 'splain. diva is in honor of all things chocolate and the Ca is for cadaver since she does look a little sliced & diced sans clothing. Even so it sounds exotic! Lovely sock. Handknit socks make feet happy! Still working out details for the road trip and I do want a shirt large if it runs small and med if it runs big :O) LeAnn

Ooooh, love those colors. Now what's this about the first sock being almost done?? WHAT???? Why aren't you doing two at once??? You're the one who talked me into two at once and now you're not??? You're bursting my bubble!!!
